The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Kamel Baddari, conducted an inspection visit on the evening of 9 August 2026 to several university residences to assess the progress of rehabilitation and renovation works, including:
• Beni Messous University Residence;
• Dely Ibrahim 1 and Dely Ibrahim 2 University Residences, under the Algiers-West Directorate of University Services.
The visit is part of the ongoing monitoring of rehabilitation works at university residences and the assessment of their readiness, with the aim of improving students’ accommodation conditions and enhancing the quality of university services provided to them.
