In line with the implementation of the principles of consultation and the openness to dialogue, Mr. Kamel Baddari, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, met with the general secretaries of student associations and their representatives at the Minister’s headquarters, today 12 October 2025:   

• The General Union of Free Students (UGEL);
• The National Student Solidarity Organisation (ONSE);
• The National Student Solidarity (SNE);
• The Alliance for National Student Renewal (AREN).

 

This meeting was dedicated to discussing various concerns and suggestions related to both education and services.

It is worth mentioning that Mr. Kamel Baddari had already met with the general secretaries of the student associations on 28 September 2025. The organisations represented were: The National Organisation for Free Students; the Conglomerate of Free Algerian Students; the Free Algerian Student Organisation; and the National League of Algerian Students.
