Mr. Kamel Baddari visits a data centre specialising in artificial intelligence applications

On 29 July 2025, Mr. Kamel Baddari, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, visited, during the afternoon, a data centre specialising in artificial intelligence applications at the National Higher School of Artificial Intelligence.
The centre’s objective is to provide a high-performance computing environment. Equipped with high-performance graphics processors of the H100, L40S and A40 series, it gives students and researchers access advanced capabilities for developing and training of artificial intelligence models using open-source software.
This advanced infrastructure will enable the school to accelerate innovation in vital and priority areas, through the development of applications for large language models, advanced computer vision, and other applications in various sectors including agriculture, industry, finance and services.
This strategic approach, based on open-source software, strengthens the school’s role as a driving force of knowledge, and strengthens its ability to achieve its goals of training a generation of experts capable of leading the digital transformation and effectively contributing to the establishment of a genuine and sustainable national digital sovereignty.
Designed in accordance with global standards for energy performance, security, and future expandability, the centre ensures the sustainability of its operations and aligns with the rapid technological advancements of in the field of artificial intelligence.
