The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Kamel Baddari, paid an inspection visit to the university campus in Blida on Monday, September 7, 2026. The visit began with a coordination meeting with the University Rector and the institution’s senior officials, dedicated to reviewing a number of issues related to the institution’s development and enhancing its performance.

Mr. Baddari commended the results achieved by teacher-researchers in the field of microchips, calling for intensified efforts in this strategic area and for the development of artificial intelligence training programs, in accordance with the institution’s Strategic Development Plan (PSD). He also called for strengthening double-degree mechanisms and activating the “Study in Algeria” platform.

The Minister also called for opening university facilities to scientific, innovation and cultural activities and extending their operating hours until 10:00 p.m. (22:00). This would help optimize the use of university infrastructure and equipment while expanding spaces dedicated to research, innovation and cultural activities.
