The minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the minister of the Environment and Life Quality inaugurate the first support office “ANGEM” at the National School of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology

On 13 December 2025, Mr. Kamel Baddari, the minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Mrs. Kaoutar Krikou, the minister of the Environment and Life Quality, conducted a working and inspection visit to the administrative district of Sidi Abdellah, as part of the support for classified institutions in implementing environmental legislation, and to observe an exhibition of institutions active in the field of recyclable waste.
The two ministers also reviewed a presentation of the analysis results conducted by the National Observatory for the Environment and Sustainable Development, as well as the National Centre for Environmental Research. Furthermore, they were informed about the activities of the pharmaceutical industry institution located at the pharmaceutical hub in Sid Abdellah.
They then proceeded to visit the National Higher School of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, where they listened to a presentation on the school’s activities and toured the membranes and clean energies laboratory.
The two ministers oversaw the inauguration of a support office for the National Agency for Microcredit Management at the school. this is the first office of its kind to be established within a university institution nationwide. It aims to support students and project holders, and encourage entrepreneurial initiatives. The delegation received comprehensive explanations from the agency representatives regarding the operational procedures of the office and its intervention mechanisms.
The visit concluded with the signing of agreements between the National Higher School of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, the National Observatory for the Environment and Sustainable Development, and the National Conservatory for Environmental Training.
