As part of monitoring compliance with instructions related to improving university services, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Kamel Baddari, conducted today, March 4, 2026, an unannounced field visit to the “19 May 1956” University Residence and the El Alia University Residence, under the Algiers-East Directorate of University Services, to personally assess compliance with quality and hygiene standards in the preparation of the iftar meal, as well as the sanitary conditions implemented in catering facilities.
