The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Kamel Baddari, carried out today, February 22, 2026, an unannounced visit to Ouled Fayet 3 University Residence to personally verify compliance with quality and hygiene standards in the preparation of the Ramadan iftar meal for students, in accordance with the interministerial decree of May 7, 2025, which sets out the specific hygiene and sanitation conditions applicable to catering facilities.

On this occasion, the Minister issued strict instructions to university services officials, emphasizing the need for continuous oversight through the activation of daily inspection committees responsible for monitoring the preparation chain and ensuring living conditions that meet students’ expectations.

On the same day, shortly before iftar, he also conducted an inspection visit to Dely Ibrahim 1 University Residence (female students) to follow up on the implementation of instructions aimed at ensuring the provision of a high-quality iftar meal.
