On 6 November 2025, Mr. Kamel Baddari, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, visited the 2025International Book Fair (SILA), at the Maritime Pines Exhibition Palace in Algiers. 

He began his visit by inspecting the creativity exhibition of his student friends, in order to promote their talents and enhance literary and intellectual creativity, which enriches the university life and contributes to society development. 

The minister also toured the stands of the Council of the Nation, the People’s National Assembly, and the Ministry of National Defence.

The minister also visited the stand of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, the guest of honour at this edition of the book fair.

Mr. Kamel Baddari concluded his visit at the University Publications Office stand.
