On 6 October 2025, the minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research chaired the ceremony for the establishment of the National Coordination Committee for the Monitoring of University Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the ministry’s headquarters. Chaired by Professor Ahmed Mir, this committee will support and monitor projects by students involved in Decision 1275, which relates to the one degree / one start-up mechanism, whereby funding is received once the “Label” from the Ministry of Knowledge Economy is obtained.
