On 8 April 2025, Mr. Kamel Baddari, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, welcomed Mr. Oikonomou Konstantinos, the Vice President of strategic partnerships at CNN Group, and Mr. Walid Chamak, the official in charge of the strategic partnerships for the Middle East and Africa at the CNN Media Group, at the Ministry’s headquarters.
During the meeting, the media delegation conveyed their interest in establishing the CNN ACADEMY in Algeria, aimed at benefiting students and media and communication professionals. They also explored the of engaging and benefiting students from the services provided by the Group, including CNN SIMULATION WEEK, and proposed the future domiciliation of the CNN ACADEMY HUB in the new Media City.
